Job Description

Requires counsel to assist on a range of contracting matters, legal research projects and other tasks which may be performed by a generalist.
This resource should be available to the Bank for up to 40 hours per week through at least July of 2022.

Responsibilities: The principal accountabilities for this resource are anticipated to include: – Drafting, reviewing, revising and negotiating general and complex agreements for software, data acquisitions, construction, consulting and other agreement types with third parties. – Conducting associated legal research required to render necessary legal advice in relation to such contracts. – Reviewing requests for proposal and draft contract examples to provide with the RFP based on existing Bank templates. – Perform contract management and workflow operations tasks needed to ensure efficient completion of contract-related requests within business-defined timelines. – Perform legal research on various legal topics at the request of FRBB attorneys. – Perform certain project management functions for legal projects which may include drafting meeting minutes and creating project trackers. – Coordinate closely with the managing attorney for contract approvals and workload management. Qualifications/Requirements: The provided resource should have the qualifications or meet the requirements listed below: – Completion of a Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school. – Admission to a state Bar. The Bank prefers a Massachusetts license, but may consider candidates with other stated licensed as long as they are available during regular business hours for the Bank (9-5). – At least 4 years of relevant experience – The position may be fully remote
