Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring for a Design Operations Associate on a long term contract basis.

Work Location:

Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid Option)

Summary:

The design operations associate is responsible for efficiently managing logistics and administration for the user experience team and its resources. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in operations who approaches the role with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities Include:
• Recruiting
o Work with internal recruitment teams to source candidates according to hiring strategy
o Candidates resume screening
o Communicate with vendors on behalf of team
o Coordinate candidate interviews with the UX team
o Coordinate candidate debriefs, keep record of feedback
• Team support
o Update team documentation (UX handbook, Team Policies, Team website, Staffing Handbook, Onboarding guide, Org Chart, etc.)
o Assist in the coordination of events: all-hands prep, team outings, holiday coverage, etc. (e.g. invites, scheduling, reserve space)
o Manage ad-hoc requests from the UX team (seating, equipment, entitlements)
• Staff Onboarding
o Manage access/set up (account set-up, remote desktop, Box, Teams, SecurID, etc.)
o Coordinate training and new hire orientation
• Financial Management
o Reconcile design expenses
o Manage team travel and expenses
o Analyze project actuals to baseline forecast
• Team Communication
o Create and distribute UX Team Newsletter

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with 3-5+ years work experience
• Exceptional organizational, analytical and project management skills
• A cheerful attitude with a passion for process improvement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Results and action-oriented attitude with resourceful mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Project management skills: ability to manage projects on tight time frames and realign priorities and deliverables to ensure milestones and targets are achieved

Pay Range: $44- $59/hour
