Mission & Vision

We do not believe in building a vision around the company but building a company around our vision, which is simply;

Every employee’s voice matters, their effort is appreciated, and their talent is rewarded.

We challenge each employee daily, to raise the bar on how we treat our consultants and candidates. For far too long in this industry, candidates have been ghosted, lied to, or placed at a client and then forgotten about. Each day our staff works tirelessly at qualifying and placing, top talent with our clients, in a compassionate and caring manner.

Not every candidate is a match for the job, but every candidate and consultant will be treated with respect and professionalism.

Summary:

Skills & Requirements

Client is looking for a network devops contractor to improve our tools and capabilities.

You’ll be part of the network team, and will listen to the team and our colleagues about the work they do, assess what’s possible with the tools we already have, and then improve those tools or build new tools. The role is primarily scripting and integrating with BMC Network Automation, NetBrain, DX NetOps, Solarwinds, and Infoblox. We don’t expect you to be a network engineer or have experience with all of the tools just mentioned.

The skills we need:
• Collaboration skills. You’ll need to work with our stakeholders to make their jobs easier and to produce higher quality configurations. You’ll need to schedule meetings, ask questions, and clarify the answers. This means excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Git or another source code management system
• 5+ years of increasing experience writing production code using PowerShell, or Perl/Python/JavaScript.
• Working with REST APIs and JSON
• Basic regular expressions
• Evaluating new tools and applications, and working with vendors to find the limits of their software. This includes requesting the necessary servers, installing applications, and integrating them with other tools and data.

Other things you’ll work on, and you’ll learn on the job if you don’t already know:
• Basic Windows server administration: Task Scheduler, setting permissions
• Solarwinds SWQL, XML, and other data formats
• BMC Network Automation custom adapters

Remote is ok. But, you’ll be more successful if you meet face-to-face with people, and our main office is in Manhattan, NYC.

Pay Range:  $70-80
