Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring an End User Computing (EUC) Consultant on a long-term contract basis.

Summary:

  • This role will report into the In-Business Central Controls & Enhancement Team with primary focus on performing ongoing control monitoring, control enhancements and independent control testing.
  • The Central Controls & Enhancements team owns all supervisory and conduct metrics for the department and is tasked with the identification of best practices and processes, the integration / centralization of controls across legacy organizations, analyses and implementation of enhancements, process flow mapping and maintenance, and coordination with other Controls teams.
  • Execute End User Computing (EUC) implementation plan to comply with the principles-based End User Computing Policy, End User Computing Standard and Enterprise-wide EUC Procedures (Requires the implementation of controls & processes).
  • Identify & designate Accountable Business Owners ABOs – required as part of policy & CIMCON new EUC tool.
  • Implement ABO framework including documenting in desktop procedures.
  • Continuity of Business Impact Assessment Questionnaire (COB IAQ) completion does not require capture of evidence by EUC Owner on completing the business process within the SLA when the EUC is listed as “not applicable for COB”, to substantiate the “not required” response.
  • Email communications – to disseminate regular email communications; To send semi-annual email comms to all to serves as a reminder EUC Identification & Steps to take; COB/REM codes etc.
  • EUC Reporting – work with current reporting teams to enhance EUC reporting to demonstrate various EUCs activities.
  • Quality Assurance implement framework.
  • Quarterly Risk Assessment.
  • Create Desktop Level End User Computing (EUC) Procedure(s) aligned to the principles-based End User Computing Policy, End User Computing Standard and Enterprise-wide EUC Procedures.
  • Collaborate with the various EUC owners/delegates on the reduction plans across Businesses and Functions to eliminate high risk EUCs and medium risk EUCs.
  • Implementation of various processes to ensure compliance with the new policy & standards roll out.
  • Pay range is $41-$53 per hour.

Required Skills:

  • 3 to 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience in internal operation audit role or equivalent experience with controls is a plus
  • Proven experience in independently handling enhancement projects and interacting with teams across all lines of defense globally
  • Understanding of the Risk & Control disciplines, standards and associated gold source systems ( Risk & Control, Records Management Governance Tool, Document Management System)
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, ability to navigate a complex organization
  • A proactive and no surprises approach in communicating issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb Presentation skills – in person and via video/phone
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Highly intellectual in character requiring exercise of discretion and judgment

Education:

Bachelors / University degree or equivalent experience
