Summary
Job Description:
This role is part of IT Financial Operations within the IT Business Management team. This is a Part Time Role (Approx. 20 Hours/Week) This team ensures accurate and timely financial management of Capital Assets for purchases made by the IT Infrastructure Hosting team. The role has overall responsibility for managing enterprise-wide Capital hardware spend and inventory.
This role is responsible for partnering with IT Finance and Digital Capability Managers (DCMs) to promote transparency in the Asset management process and reporting.
Detailed Position Responsibilities:
• Must have Advanced MS Excel skills to assist with Financial Reporting
• Manage a centralized Capital Hardware Spend and Budget/Projection process.
• Support Digital Capability Managers regarding financial requirements and Purchase Order coding.
• Leverage financial and operational insights to advise decision making and identify improvement opportunities.
• Direct experience and subject matter expertise in IT Hardware procurement, amortization of assets, and Capitalization processes, particularly in IT.
• Partner with IT Finance to foster transparency on the IT-Capital spend worldwide and support the delivery of the IT-Capital budget-projection.
Desired Experience:
• Must have Advanced MS Excel skills to assist with Financial Reporting
• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Industry Experience: 5+ years experience in IT and/or Finance preferably based at a bio/pharmaceutical company.
• Must have experience in financial processes and internal controls, and how they apply to IT and the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge in financial & capital accounting is a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, OneNote) and SharePoint
• Experience reporting on data from commercial tools and enterprise systems; experience in SAP and ServiceNow is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork & interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with employees & management.
