Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Mailroom Clerk on a long-term contract basis.

Summary:

  • Seeking self-motivated individual for clerical role in a mailroom-type environment for financial services. Candidates with customer service experience (in-person or call center) a plus but not required. Individuals must demonstrate attention to detail and client service orientation. Individuals should be team-oriented with good communication skills.
  • This position requires the ability to work from centralized location in Long Island City, Monday through Friday.
  • The Client Solutions Team provides resolution for assigned cases within the group.
  • Provide resolution for both internal and external clients and the majority of resolutions are communicated via physical mail.
  • As a member of the Client Solutions-Assigning Team, you will assist as our groups intake and outtake unit for client communications.
  • Accepting incoming mail from primary mailroom.
  • Sorting and uploading incoming documents to online system.
  • Sorting interoffice mail and messages.
  • Accepting print jobs via email from remote team of 15-20 associates.
  • Printing, scanning, and packing outgoing mail (USPS and UPS).
  • Responsible for monitoring email and ensuring timely response to team manager inquiries.
     

Required Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with office technology such as printer, scanner, and email.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Prior experience with NetX 360 (Pershing platform) a plus.
  • Prior experience in financial industry a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel a plus but not required.
