Our client, a leading financial company is hiring an Operations Support Specialist on a contract basis.

Work Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid: part remote, part onsite- must comply with client’s COVID vaccination requirement)

Summary:

The Operations Support Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for the day-to-day support with North America Tuition Reimbursement Program, including Adoption and Surrogacy reimbursement. During non-peak periods, the specialist will provide support to the Core HR operations team in terminations, Change Job Non-Requisitions, and additional data support.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures to complete assignments.
  • Resolve problems that require in-depth investigation or research.
  • Provide team assistance, and allocation of work, as needed.
  • Resolve employee inquiries and handle escalated issues, providing efficient and effective customer service.
  • Communicate pertinent information to leaders and support activities that help mitigate organizational loss or impact, as needed.
  • Prepare EIBS to send to the Pre-payroll Team for reimbursement.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
