Summary:
The Ad Platform Team is responsible for delivering digital advertising technology solutions that meet the needs of our advertisers, our sales team, and our users. As an Ad Product Manager on the team, you will be collaborating with both the digital product teams and digital sales teams to develop top-of-the-line advertising products. This role will have a focus on video advertising, and specifically connected TV devices.
We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast pace, high-tech, always changing product environment and who will provide creativity and imagination addressing today and tomorrow’s video ad product needs! The right person for our role has a strong familiarity with the digital advertising landscape – preferably in video advertising. Ultimately, we want a diligent and well-rounded individual who constructs impact – who can solve complex technical problems, build data driven experiences, and be able to communicate product solutions to both technical and non-technical folks alike.
The Ad PM is relied upon to work along-side site and app product teams in the writing of requirements and testing of all video ad products. You will be a key contact for internal teams and represent with our industry-leading external ad tech vendors!
Role Details: Accountabilities / Duties /Key Projects (Essential Functions of the job)
- Lead and deliver on product strategy – helping to align the common product vision across a diverse set of technologies.
- Develop new video ad serving capabilities by writing requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and maintaining the product roadmap with developers and site product teams.
- Assist in the QA of ad related technologies with the site and app product teams as they release app or site updates across desktop, mobile apps, and OTT devices.
- Troubleshoot video ad related issues as they arise across the network.
- Serve as a video ad product SME for the sales team.
- Help integrate, test, and troubleshoot third party ad tech providers across the footprint.
Required Skills:
- Lead and deliver on product strategy – helping to align the common product vision across a diverse set of technologies.
- Develop new video ad serving capabilities by writing requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and maintaining the product roadmap with developers and site product teams.
- Assist in the QA of ad related technologies with the site and app product teams as they release app or site updates across desktop, mobile apps, and OTT devices.
- Troubleshoot video ad related issues as they arise across the network.
- Serve as a video ad product SME for the sales team.
- Help integrate, test, and troubleshoot third party ad tech providers across the footprint.
- Experience with Freewheel MRM. (Required)
- Working knowledge of Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI). (Required)
- Experience with multi-platform debugging and proxy tools.
- Familiarity with agile ceremonies.
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a sophisticated, always-changing environment.
- Familiarity in Jira and Confluence.
- Pay range – $40 – $45 per hour.
