Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring for a Project Coordinator on a long term contract basis.

Seattle, WA (Remote Option)


The Project Coordinator will support the Principal Program Manager and the Director of the Project Management Office in facilitating high visibility and high-profile initiatives in the Parametric Risk, Compliance, and Audit portfolio of work. The project coordinator will also assist with the day-to-day administrative and reporting functions of the PMO.

The Project Coordinator will organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, track and report project and subproject progress, compile information from multiple locations and organize in a logical and consumable manner, ensure all deadlines for certain projects and/or activities are met, and contribute to portfolio and project risk management efforts.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable and has a background in business analysis, project administration/coordination, or entry level operational management. In addition, this individual must be able to operate autonomously, communicate effectively, and be flexible in work assignments and project approaches.

– Planning and coordination of small projects and subprojects independently or in cooperation with other Project Managers.
– Coordinate, schedule, and participate in project meetings, document and socialize meeting notes and action items
– Develop and maintain tracking and reporting mechanisms and processes across multiple disparate initiatives
– Communicate with internal resources to organize and facilitate work.
– Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
– Communicate with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements and status

Required Skills: 

– BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related area of study from an accredited college or university with applicable project management experience.
– 1-2+ years of experience managing projects.
– Excellent listening, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and handle interruptions.
– Must be a self-starter with the ability to “manage upward”; able to think on your feet and exercise good judgment and decision making. Must pay attention to details.
– CAPM or Project Management certification is a plus.
– Financial Services background is a plus.
