PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Project/Program Manager on a contract basis.

Work Location

Lawrence Township, NJ/Hybrid

 

Summary

 

• Track all department budgets, contracts, purchase orders, and invoices

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all budget-related questions

• Prepare monthly budget and spend reports for leadership team

• Facilitate statement of work and purchase order approvals

• Review statements of work to understand financial impact

• Monitor and track department headcount changes

• Work with Finance department to support projections and annual planning

• Lead meetings to review spend and related tracking

• Assist with team and vendor inquiries

• Identify and recommend areas of improvement for budget processes and related tracking

• Manage small projects to support business operations

 

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, MBA preferred

• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

• High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

• Experience with SAP (R/3, ECC, S/4 HANA) transactions (SAP GUI) for financial tracking

• High attention to detail

• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills

• Must be team oriented and have ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment working with multiple levels of management

• Successful candidate must be a self-starter, well organized, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and be able to work with minimal supervision, as well as demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and requests

• Experience using MS SharePoint and MS Teams

• Experience with project management is a plus

• Experience in IT or Pharma is a plus

• Experience with Ariba or iCertis contract management is a plus
