Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Risk & Controls Analyst on a long-term contract basis.

Work Location:

Irving, TX; San Antonio, TX; Tampa, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Miami, FL or New Castle, DE

Summary:

  • Document process maps for Global Wealth Management Risk group
  • Work with stakeholders/SME to understand process steps, inputs, outputs. Define process scope, objective, identify roles and responsibilities.
  • Determine process success criteria. Review documented controls associated with the process. Identify control gaps.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial industry
  • 5+ year of experience in risk management with a strong background in risk and controls
  • Excellent judgment and independent decision-making ability
  • Strong energetic lead with advanced presentation and communication skills
  • Effectiveness in working within a large scale and complex organization
  • Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and ‘no surprises’ approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or related master’s degree preferred
  • Six Sigma Certification, PMP Preferred
