Our client, a leading hospitality service provider, is hiring a Technical Software Engineer on a long-term contract basis.
Work Location:
100% remote; there may be isolated instances where there’s a request for them to come on-site, but that would be rare if ever.
Summary:
Technical Software Engineer
Functions as a technical expert with F&B Point of Sale, including Oracle Simphony and Shiji Infrasys.
Desirable skills include Simphony configuration and deployment, R&A reports and exports, interfaces between POS and other systems such as PMS, shell scripting, and general knowledge of related computer technologies in a large enterprise environment. Researches and resolves complex issues related to Property POS systems. Collaborates with Product, Engineering, L2 support and Hotel-Ops teams to ensure the systems deployed are scalable, resilient, and performing. Works with multiple products & engineering teams to deliver incremental value against a multi-year modernization roadmap. Performs or assists with research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of applications to meet current and future POS requirements. Helps develop proof-of-concept implementations to evaluate cutting-edge technology to drive and meet business & technology objectives. Communicates upward to superiors and laterally to other departments.

Pay Range: $60 – $70/ hour.
