Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring for an Technology Controls Program Manager on a long term contract basis.

A Wealth Management Technology Controls Program Manager is required to provide additional subject matter expertise to support existing programs around technology policy & governance, and technology recovery/resilience exercises, as well as ongoing expansion of Disaster Recovery and Continuity coverage and programs.
• Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Exercise Planning: Must have a mix of exercise planning experience, communication skills, interpersonal skills, business continuity management and cybersecurity and technology knowledge. Additionally, an understanding of the global regulatory environment, operational resilience principles and their application to the exercise initiatives will be important to the candidate’s and team’s success.
A successful candidate should have a solid foundation of leading teams focused on business continuity and/or cybersecurity exercise planning and have an appetite for learning and developing a best-in-class program. It is essential that the candidate be able to keep pace in a dynamic and globally distributed team environment.
• WM Technology Policy & Governance (WMTPG): Proactively work with the WMTPG team in executing Policy Analysis, creating executive summaries, and coordinating execution of follow-up activities. Develop and continually revise (in partnership with other teams where necessary) suitable policies and procedures to ensure appropriate understanding of the client’s Policy and Procedures. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining clear, concise, and timely communications with WMTPG partners (e.g., Technology & Operations Risk, Enterprise Technology Services), and will assist with the day-to-day activities for designated the client’s Entity/Division and help to be a Subject Matter Expert in the space. 

Skills Required:

• 5-7+ years experience within business continuity management and/or cybersecurity or technology roles, preferably within financial services
• Familiar with applicable existing and emerging finance-industry regulatory requirements related to business continuity, disaster recovery and resiliency practices, as well as the Information Technology Risk landscape
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to understand and engage a wide audience across all levels of the organization
• Experience and proven ability to lead initiatives without direct authority
• Ability to distill themes and key takeaways from various sources of complex information into a format for understanding by management
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish rapport across all levels of personnel and department
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project streams efficiently and diplomatically in a dynamic environment
• Proven ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines/deliver under pressure
• Strong initiative and a proactive attitude in approach to work
• Ability to facilitate conversations with large groups of stakeholders (both in person and remote)
• BS/MS or equivalent, preferably in quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE, Math, Physics)

Skills Desired:
• Experience working for a globally distributed organization
• Experience with the major financial information-sharing organizations (FSARC, FS-ISAC, SIFMA)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Master Exercise Planner (MEP)
• Familiar and effective with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• DR, BCP, PMP or ITIL certifications preferred (include
• Ensure adherence to Technology and Information Risk guidelines
• Proficient knowledge of ITIL including but not limited to Availability Management, Service Continuity Management and Change Management
