Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Training Specialist on a contract basis.

The Training Specialist, Business Process Management (BPM) is responsible for supporting training initiatives for the BPM team by designing, developing and deploying training content to support projects within BPM. The Training Specialist is responsible for the development of curricula and content related to Cell Therapy Operations. The Training Specialist partners with project managers, business delivery resources, and subject matter experts to understand the training gap, design and build the training content, and support training delivery to trainers as assigned.


This role based out of our corporate office in Seattle, WA, U.S. Travel within the U.S. may be required from time to time.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop functional role training plans to support PPM projects, programs, and BPM-owned systems.

Develop multifaceted training delivery methods to utilize varied learning abilities within the workforce.

Develop and conduct training on process and system change.

Coordinate and lead, as needed, training sessions, both in person and over virtual platform for our team globally.

Identify learning and training gaps and advise training manager on mitigation solutions.

Support blended learning approach by creating classroom materials and content in tandem with e-learning principles.

Partner with SMEs, and other business resources for content creation

Comply with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulations.


Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

Ability to work independently


ERP system experience in Oracle EBS or SAP 4 Hana

Ability to rapidly solve problems and deal with organizational complexity

Ability to prioritize and complete work with sense of urgency based on criticality

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards

High attention to detail skills

High organization skills with ability to multi-task several tasks in parallel

Project coordination or management skills

Customer focused relationship skills

Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheet and training software


Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

Required minimum 3 years of training experience and expertise in adult learning principles

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles

Experience designing for a variety of instructional delivery methods and media including face-to-face, virtual, and web-based learning.

Skills in creating KPIs and analysis of metrics to measure the quality of training


Preferred but not Required:

Required Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a regulated environment

Experience in Cellular Therapy or Stem Cell Transplant programs

Skills in creating effective KPIs and analysis of training metrics

Knowledge of systems such as Learning Management Systems, Document Management Systems
