Voice Engineer (Oracle SBC)

Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring for a Voice Engineer (Oracle SBC) on a long term contract basis.

Work Location:

Alpharetta, GA


The candidate will join a team of voice engineers and specialists who design and certify standard voice and carrier voice solutions. Extensive experience in testing and designing Oracle SBC solutions with expertise in Session Routing, Session Management and SIP trunking. The candidate will be capable of leading test and design projects, working both individually and collaborating with SME colleagues to ensure integrations and migrations are successfully delivered.

Required Skills & Experience: 

-5+ years of experience with Oracle (ACME Packet) SBC products
-3+ years of experience designing and deploying carrier SIP solutions
-Experience with Contact Center solutions from Genesys highly preferred
-Experience with scripting and test automation highly preferred
-Experience with private, public and hybrid clouds preferred
-Experience with tools such as Sevone, Spectrum, Ixia and Empirix beneficial

Skills Desired:
-MS in Computer Science or Telecommunications is desired
-Bachelors in a relevant field is a must-Good interpersonal skills, both written and oral
-Ability to work in cross functional teams with specialists in different disciplines.
-Ability to communicate with system vendors to certify and enhance products to meet MS requirements
-Good presentation skills
